Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major Earthworks package based in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a long-term scheme with a reputable firm, working on a technically challenging project.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for bulk earthworks, cut/fill operations, drainage, and formation

*

Ensuring site records and as-builts are maintained accurately

*

Managing QA, ITPs, and site documentation

*

Liaising with the site team, subcontractors, and surveyors

*

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Site Engineer in civil/earthworks projects

*

Strong setting-out skills with total station and GPS equipment

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

*

Excellent communication and team coordination skills

*

Immediate availability

Package:

*

Competitive day rate: £250 - £320, depending on experience

*

Long-term freelance role

*
