HGV Class 2 Driver - Stirling (FK7)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Stirling (FK7).

You will be driving and operating Category C1 and Category C vehicles for this role

This is a great opportunity for flexible drivers looking for ongoing ad hoc work with competitive rates of pay.

Shifts:

• Tuesday - Friday (very occasional Saturday work)
• 8-hour day shifts (45-minute unpaid break) 

Rates of Pay:

• £16.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a HGV Class 2 Driver your duties will include:

• Driving and operating Category C1 and Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out kerbside deliveries
• Safe and timely delivery of goods to customers
• Manual handling as part of loading and unloading
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Supporting with general duties where required

 Essential Skills:

The skills required as a HGV Class 2 Driver are:

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, professional and customer focused

 Desirable Experience:

• Previous delivery driving and multi-drop experience is advantageous

 Training:

• Industry-related training with ongoing support
