NOC Technician II

The NOC Technician will contribute to our 24x7 Network Operations Center with responsibilities to accurately identify and resolve technological failures and potential issues with timely resolutions while documenting measures taken.
Administer client network devices such as laptops, workstations, printers and servers within a primarily Microsoft Windows environment.
Be part of the 24x7x365 support team with rotating after hours on-call responsibilities.
Answer incoming calls and email requests for support and respond within our internal and clients contracted SLA timeframe.
Provide remote support of client systems and networks with possible travel to local client sites.
Contacting and working with vendors to assist our clients with warranty claims and replacement of failed or replacement equipment.
Provide suggestions and answers to client’s questions about best practices on software packages such as Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
Responsible for hardware and software upgrades, backup, restoration of files and recover systems in case of failure.
Proactively monitor client environments and recommend changes.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly documented maintenance procedures.
Document all support calls using our time management system.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills to be able to diagnose a client’s problem.
Communicate technical information to non-technical in all levels of an organization.
Ability to create technical documentation for use by non-technical users.
Support Microsoft Windows desktop (Windows 7, 10) and server operating systems (Windows 2008 - 2016).
Able to support various Microsoft Office platforms from 2010 to Office 365.
Support various hardware from different vendors (Dell, HP, Intel)
Able to research, suggest and implement resolutions or new technologies to meet client needs.
Experience supporting routers, switches and firewalls.
Experience with small to medium size hardware deployments, server implementations and server maintenance.

- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Information Technology with equivalent work experience will be considered.
- At least 5 experience working in a professional information technology role.
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications a plus
