Commercial Gas Engineer | Heating Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas (ideally within 30 miles)
Overtime / Pay: Door-to-door pay on top of salary

Job Description

A leading facilities maintenance contractor is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer in the Newcastle area. This role involves servicing, maintenance, and installation of commercial gas systems across a variety of sites. Purge and test experience is a bonus.

You will be working with modern tools and software, including Job Logic, and enjoy a fully equipped company vehicle for all assignments.

Key Responsibilities

* Planned and reactive maintenance of commercial gas systems

* Installation, repair, and replacement of boilers, pipework, and heating systems

* Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of gas appliances

* Carrying out purge and test work

* Logging and reporting work using Job Logic software

* Ensuring compliance with Gas Safe and health & safety regulations

Skills & Qualifications

* Commercial gas qualifications (essential)

* Gas Safe registered

* Purge and test experience (desirable)

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Professional, reliable, and punctual
