You will joining an established organisation based in Leicester specialising in Sheet Metal Fabrication. Your role, as CAD CAM Programmer Sheet Metal Fabrication, will be to produce high quality, dimensionally accurate engineering drawings and CNC programs for the manufacturing of sheet metal components according to client orders and specifications. The Programmer will translate client requirements into precise CAD/CAM designs and develop CNC programs. As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong understanding of both programming and the practical aspects of sheet metal fabrication, including bending, forming, and assembly.

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

Experience of CNC programming or a relevant CNC Programming qualification.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet metal design experience essential).
Ability to read and create CAD drawings for manufacturing
Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes
Good mathematical skills
Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office and CAD / CAM software
Experience of Oseon / Lantek software is desirable

The role will suit individuals currently working as CAD CAM Programmer Sheet Metal Fabrication, CAD CAM Programmer, Setter, Operator, CAD Designer, CNC Programmer and be living within a commutable distance of Leicester, Leicestershire, Coventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Tamworth, Ashby, Coalville, Derby, Loughborough or be willing to relocate.
