We're looking for a dynamic Charge Nurse to join the nursing department of our client, a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of up to £41,700. As a Charge Nurse, you'll have the opportunity to manage a team in a cardiac cath lab, making a real difference in patient outcomes. There's also flexibility with part-time hours available and a shift pattern to suit your lifestyle.

As a Charge Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management of the Hospital Ward and its staff
  • Providing clinical management and efficient management of ward resources
  • Driving clinical excellence in all aspects of care received by patients
  • Working to maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction
  • Guiding and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda
  • Conducting yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Code of professional Conduct

The ideal Charge Nurse candidate should:

  • Have evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RGN with valid NMC Registration
  • Have a background working in acute nursing care
  • Hold a Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies
  • Have up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • Be aware of NMC Code of Accountability
  • Have recruitment and selection skills
  • Have a background working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent
