As a Charge Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of the Hospital Ward and its staff
- Providing clinical management and efficient management of ward resources
- Driving clinical excellence in all aspects of care received by patients
- Working to maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction
- Guiding and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda
- Conducting yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Code of professional Conduct
As a Charge Nurse, you'll receive:
- An annual salary of up to £41,700

- Have a background working in acute nursing care
- Hold a Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies
- Have up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
- Be aware of NMC Code of Accountability
- Have recruitment and selection skills
- Have a background working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent
