EYFS SEND Teacher (Part-Time) - September 2026 Start
Outstanding Opportunity in a Highly Regarded West London Primary School

Rising Hope Education is proud to be supporting a well-established, multi-form entry primary school in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham in recruiting an EYFS SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in developing a brand-new specialist SEND provision within an exceptional mainstream primary school. The position will begin on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and offers the chance to help design and shape a provision from the ground up alongside a highly supportive leadership team.

The Role

From September 2026, the school will open its first specialist SEND class, supporting 10 pupils within Early Years. Many of the children have autism and sensory needs, and the provision has been carefully planned to ensure the right environment, resources and staffing are in place for them to thrive.

You will be the lead teacher within the classroom, working alongside another teacher who will cover the remaining two days each week. Together you will co-teach and collaboratively develop the curriculum and structure of the provision.

The class will be exceptionally well supported, with a 2:1 adult-to-child ratio and four adults in the classroom.

Having already met several of the pupils joining the provision, we can confidently say this group of children are curious, engaging and full of personality. The school is deeply committed to ensuring their transition into this provision is positive, nurturing and well supported.

A Unique Opportunity to Build Something Meaningful

This is the first time the school has introduced a specialist SEND provision, and significant thought and investment has gone into creating the right space and resources.

The successful teacher will have the opportunity to:

*

Help design the curriculum and learning environment

*

Shape routines, systems and approaches within the provision

*

Select resources and learning tools that best support the pupils

*

Work closely with the Headteacher, SENCo and senior leadership team

This provision is expected to expand in September 2027, when a second classroom will open, increasing capacity to 20 pupils across two classes.

As the provision grows, there will be clear opportunities for progression, including:

*

Leading the provision

*

Moving into a full-time position

*

Remaining part-time with increased leadership responsibilities

Working Pattern

This role will begin as 3 days per week.

The school is flexible on days provided they are consecutive, such as:

*

Monday to Wednesday
or

*

Wednesday to Friday

Salary

*

Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

*

SEN Allowance included

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is:
