A leading engineering and technology organisation is seeking an experienced Air Safety Consultant to support a wide range of aviation and defence projects. The Role

As an Air Safety Consultant, you will lead major safety management assignments, working closely with clients to deliver technical analysis, certification strategies and airworthiness solutions. You will be responsible for developing safety reports, providing assurance across project teams and supporting business development activities. Your work will help ensure that people, equipment and the environment are protected from unnecessary harm.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of safety, airworthiness and certification documentation
Provide assurance and oversight of safety work across project teams
Support the development of future capabilities and client solutions
Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored safety strategies
Contribute to winning new work and expanding the organisation's reach in the defence sectorSkills and Experience
Strong understanding of military aviation safety, including ASPIRE and the Air Engineer's Toolkit
Experience with safety techniques such as FHA, ZHA, FTA, ETA, FMECA and/or CBA
Familiarity with tools such as Air System Loss Models, BowTies or GSN/CAE
Proven ability to develop safety management solutions at enterprise, platform or system level
Experience in developing Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Management Plans
Working knowledge of Def Stan 00-056 and other relevant industry standards
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (or working towards it)
Ability to build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunitiesWorking Environment
