SALARY: £55,000 - £64,000
Our Client is leading in their field and is a non-profit organisation, seeking a Legal Counsel to join their small knit legal team and report directly into the General Counsel. The appointed Legal Counsel will offer legal advice across the Organisation. You will be responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of research and other agreements in compliance. You will take charge of drafting and negotiating these agreements as well as advising and supporting colleagues to finalise these. In addition, you will help develop guidance and training for internal clients on standard legal processes and agreements.
To be considered for this role you will be a Qualified solicitor will a minimum of 5 years PQE. You will have gained significant technical experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts and have the ability to apply legal expertise to business problems. You will be dynamic and able to work with a range of people. Experience of working within the charity sector and exposure to scientific research or pharma/biotech would be strongly advantageous but is not essential.
