The Role - Year 5 Class Teacher

We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets this September. This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about raising achievement and delivering creative, engaging lessons tailored to a diverse group of learners.

You will be responsible for a class of up to 28 pupils, including 2 children with EHCPs, supported by experienced LSAs. Strong classroom management and experience teaching under the KS2 curriculum is essential. The role is open to experienced teachers as well as ECTs who have completed at least one placement in a Year 5 or Year 6 setting.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to teach a literacy or maths lesson and attend an interview with the Headteacher and Phase Leader.
