Simply Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and inspiring Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS) to join a dynamic secondary school in Northamptonshire starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative educator to engage students through performance, storytelling, and theatre while developing their confidence and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
Encourage creativity, performance skills, and confidence through practical drama activities.
Prepare students for performances, productions, and assessments.
Monitor and assess student progress in line with the curriculum.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
Is passionate about performing arts and student engagement.
Can inspire students of all abilities to participate and develop their performance skills.All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
