KS1 Teaching Assistant - Independent School, Kensington
Start: January 2025 - Easter (Full Time)

A prestigious independent school in Kensington is seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and dynamic team from January until Easter. This is a full-time, long-term role working with Year 1/Year 2 pupils.

The Role:

Supporting classroom learning across KS1, with a focus on literacy, phonics, and small-group interventions

Assisting the class teacher with daily routines, lesson preparation, and classroom management

Providing targeted support for pupils with varying needs to ensure progress and engagement

Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive school environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 1 year's experience supporting KS1 pupils

Confident delivering phonics and literacy interventions

Positive, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team

Passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing

Available full time from January to Easter
