Job Title: Audit and Accounts Manager

Location: Cardiff

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: Competitive D.O.E

We’re currently working with a large independent firm based in Cardiff, who are looking to further grow and develop their team. As an Audit Manager, you’ll manage audits from planning to completion across a client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

·       Lead and review audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion

·       Manage and mentor audit teams, ensuring high-quality work

·       Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with standards

·       Identify risks, communicate findings, and provide proactive advice to clients

·       Build and maintain strong client relationships

·       Support clients with complex accounting and regulatory issues

The Ideal Candidate

·       Must be ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 4 years’ experience in practice

·       Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards

·       Currently a manager or ready to step up

·       Confident communicator with solid leadership and client-facing skills

·       Experience mentoring and reviewing junior staff
