Assistant Accountant / Semi Senior Sheffield £24,000 to £28,000 plus study

The Organisation
My client is a leading regional firm of accountants based in Sheffield, they are going from strength to strength and have an excellent well developed client base . They are looking to recruit an experienced assistant accountant with a good grouding in practice looking to join a regional firm with support and opportunity to grow.

Key responsibilities include:

*Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
*Assisting with management account production for clients
*Assisting with some audit work including reviewing clients systems and controls
*Assisting with the preparation of draft tax computations
*Preparation of VAT returns

The Person
You will have at least two to three years of working within an accountancy practice and be looking to join a firm with a well-established structure for you to thrive and develop. You will be capable of managing your own workload and comfortable working in a team environment
