Golf Retail Assistant

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Set within the busy Golf Shop, the Retail Assistant requires a high energy, sales focused individual who deals with all customer enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

The role also demands an individual that is able to drive revenue and to ensure that all opportunities are maximised to sell golf products, whilst providing excellent guest service.

Both exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential for this role, and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to deliver this.

The ideal candidate will possess a hunger to produce a high quality of work in a retail environment that celebrates individual and team success.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• Ensure that golfers adhere to their allocated tee time and maintain pace of play on the golf course.
• Remove golfers from the course if slow play continues and course rules are broken.
• Inform guests of course rules, check they are dressed appropriately and are showing a guest bag tag.
• Maintain the presentation of the buggy fleet. Any buggies that have any defects must be reported to the Head of Golf Operations and placed out of action.
• Ensure that trolleys are in clean working order.
