Job Title: Conveyancing AssistantLocation: Ellesmere Port (Potential hybrid after a period of time)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceThe Role An established legal practice is recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant to support its property department. The successful candidate will assist with a range of conveyancing tasks and help ensure smooth progress of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion and post completion.Key Responsibilities

• Support the conveyancing team by preparing and maintaining case files, ordering searches, and managing documentation relating to property transactions.
• Communicate with clients, lenders, estate agents and third parties to obtain information, send updates, and progress cases efficiently.
• Assist with post completion work including Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions, and file closures.
• Handle incoming and outgoing post, update client records, and ensure all documentation is filed and tracked accurately.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, helping maintain high standards of client service and departmental organisation.

About You

• Ideally 6-12 months' experience in a conveyancing support role or legal environment.
• Previous exposure to post completion tasks desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, client focused approach.
• Comfortable working in a team and supporting high quality service delivery.
