Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: circa £26,000 - £32,000
Hours: Full-time

A well-established, independent accountancy and advisory firm in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The Role:

* Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

* Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts

* Supporting client queries with a proactive, service-focused approach

* Assisting with personal and corporate tax compliance

* Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships

* Working closely with senior team members

The Ideal Candidate:

* AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available)

* At least 2 years of practice experience

* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail

* Comfortable working across multiple clients and industries simultaneously

* Proactive, organised, and aligned with a culture of continuous improvement
