We are looking for Business Development professionals who are able to develop rapport with targets over the phone through an established sequence of print, electronic and verbal touches. The ideal candidate is charismatic, committed, detail-oriented and must love data and working with CRM systems.
• Qualify and distribute targeted leads by cold-calling targets and follow ups by evaluating responses to our multi-channel marketing approach
• Generate demand by proactively creating awareness and effectively managing data
• Create and update records in CRM system to maintain the integrity and increase the usefulness of our database
• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work harmoniously with other members of the Business Development team
o 2-5 years Cold calling experience
o CRM and data management skills
o Bachelor’s degree preferred
o Working knowledge of marketing automation tools
o Positive, with an enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude
o Honest, charismatic and loyal, with a good sense of humor
o Strategic, data-driven and results oriented
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
o Ability to target potential leads, connect the dots, make calls, and schedule meetings
o Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
o Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts simultaneously
o Demonstrated analytical skills
o Determined to target and secure corporate clients-in-transition in need of office furniture, facility services, or interior design expertise
o Ability to apply innovative thinking to solve problems and capture opportunities
o Natural problem-solving mindset that seeks to meet the customer's needs
