This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer that is proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, looking for a varied opportunity with a long established manufacturer of specialised manufacturing equipment.

The Role:

Research, develop, and improve designs for special purpose machinery, conveyors, structural steelwork, and fabrications
Produce and modify design schemes, calculations, BOMs, and detailed engineering drawings
Perform engineering calculations and analysis to evaluate performance, safety, and efficiency
Create 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful deliveryThe Person:

Knowledge of mechanical principles
