Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of all projects within the mechanical department. This position involves maintaining strict adherence to Works Information, enhancing the management system and contractual procedures, and promoting continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Confirm and uphold compliance with Works Information, ensuring confidence in the capabilities of the supply chain, and meeting LTQR handover requirements.

* Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of the management system and contractual procedures.

* Stay well-informed about industry standards relevant to quality inspection activities.

* Collaborate with delivery and construction teams to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

* Conduct trend analysis for issues and non-conformances, providing expert reports.

* Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

* Proven experience working on major mechanical engineering projects, with preference given to candidates experienced in the nuclear or power sectors.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

* A confident and effective communicator with the ability to build productive partnerships.

* Possess a valid CSCS card.

* Hold valid CSWIP 3.2 certification or PCN level 3 in weld inspection (consideration may be given to those with PCN level 2).
