Head of Services – Children's Social Care
£350–£400 per day | Remote & On-site | ASAP Start | West Midlands
Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are supporting a Local Authority in the West Midlands with the urgent appointment of a Head of Services within Children’s Social Care. This is a senior-level interim post suitable for experienced social work leaders with a background in statutory children’s services.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive service-wide improvements across a portfolio that could include Safeguarding, Assessment & Intervention, MASH, Children in Care or similar.
The postholder will work directly with the Assistant Director and be responsible for managing up to 9 Team Managers.
Essential Requirements:? Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)? Previous senior management experience in children’s services? Strong track record of service improvement and team leadership? Knowledge of current safeguarding legislation and best practice? Able to commit to a hybrid working model
