We're currently working in partnership with a welcoming and vibrant Primary School in Bournemouth who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

This is a permanent position working primarily in a Year 4 classroom, offering general support as well as targeted 1:1 assistance for pupils with additional needs. You'll play a vital role in helping all children access learning, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential.

Start Date:

Ideally from May half term, but a September start is also possible for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, nursery, after-school clubs, tutoring, etc.)

A patient, compassionate, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting learning.

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is desirable but not essential - training and guidance will be provided.

Your Responsibilities:

Support learning in the Year 4 classroom under the guidance of the class teacher.

Work 1:1 with pupils who have additional learning or emotional needs.

Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.

Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents/carers.
