Randstad Education is hiring on behalf of a welcoming and progressive secondary school in Birmingham for the position of a Mathematics Teacher. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role, ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to long-term impact in the classroom.
Eligibility Criteria: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Mandatory.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK - Please note, sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Must be willing to commit to a permanent role.
- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience as a Maths Teacher in the UK is required.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire and challenge students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student's work, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental planning, staff meetings, and ongoing CPD opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress and well-being.
- Track and report student attainment and progress accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school-wide initiatives as needed.
