Empowering Learning requires several Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN school in the Middlesbrough area

Role Details:

Location: Middlesbrough area
Hours: 5 days a week, 8:00 AM - 16:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP with potential for temp to perm

Responsibilities:

Supervise and care for children in the classroom.
Assist the lead teacher with the curriculum and activities.
Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assist with personal care
Experience of behaviours that challenge
Support students with PMLD, ASC and SEMH
Communicate with parents and provide updates on the child's progress.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Previous experience of supporting young children.
Strong communication skills for interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and passion for working with young children.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
Basic understanding of child development principles.
