About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced female electrician to join a growing team. This role involves providing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services often within environments where, due to privacy and dignity and other considerations, services must be delivered by a female professional. Examples include women's shelters, female-only residential facilities, and environments supporting vulnerable women.
This requirement is a Genuine and Determining Occupational requirement, in accordance with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010, as the role often involves working in settings where being female is an occupational requirement for reasons including privacy and dignity.
Requirements- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- AM2 and ECS Gold Card (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in domestic and commercial settings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities- Electrical installations (1st and 2nd fix)
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Testing and inspection (EICRs)
- Compliance with current wiring regulations and safety standards
- Interacting professionally with clients and maintaining a high standard of work
- Completing necessary certification and paperwork
Salary from £33K pa dependent on experience.
