Our client, a well known manufacturing business based near Mansfield are looking to appoint a manufacturing manager who will be responsible for a fast paced manufacturing unit with a team of circa 50. The successful manufacturing manager will have exposure to fast paced manufacturing environments, experience within FMCG would bode well for a role like this. A proven track record of implementing continuous improvement strategies is essential and the ability to ensure KPI's and SOPs are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure at all times the Production lines are in full working order
Management of a large production team
Carry out daily team meetings
Provide training, coaching and support to staff
Drive continuous improvement and lean strategies
Execute production plans efficiently
Comply with ISO standards 9001 and 14001
Support the senior leadership team and business growth
Skills / Qualification:

Six Sigma training / Formal lean training preferred. Thorough knowledge of
Past experience of coaching on a one-to-one and group session basis
Focused outside of just manufacturing/production and able to make improvements across all facets of the business
