Learning Support Assistant 

Location: Rochester (Must be a car driver due to location)Contract Type: Full time- Monday to Friday - 08.30am to 04.30pmStart Date: ImmediatelySalary: Competitive

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students in our SEN setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with specific learning and developmental needs
• Assist with daily routines
• Support social, emotional, and academic development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for learning

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with young children, preferably in an SEN or school setting
• Understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or equivalent) desirable
