Introduction to the Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business to help drive the category management strategy to the next level.

You will manage a supplier portfolio and be responsible for driving turnover and developing positive relationships.

Description of the role:

Manage and grow supplier categories in alignment with broader strategic goals.
Partner with internal teams to drive category performance and support strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers through regular meetings.
Organise, coordinate, and facilitate regular committee meetings.
Represent the organisation at industry events.
Work collaboratively with senior leaders and department heads.
Produce clear and accurate management reports.

About you:

A proven track record of driving growth and opportunities.
A background in supplier-facing roles within trade-focused industries such as merchants/materials.
CIPS qualification or qualified by experience.
Existing strong relationships within the industry.
Proven commercial and digital trading experience.
Excellent Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel.
A solutions-focused approach with a commitment to achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
