The Opportunity

We're supporting a growing fabrication business who are looking to recruit a Stainless Steel Fabricator with TIG welding experience to join their workshop team.

This is a hands-on role focused on producing high-quality fabricated components, working from drawings within a busy and well-established workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication of stainless steel components from technical drawings
• TIG welding as part of the fabrication process
• Manufacturing mesh panels using 5mm flat bar frames with weld mesh infill
• Cutting, assembling, and welding components to specification
• Carrying out polishing and finishing to achieve required standards
• Ensuring accuracy and quality across all fabricated products
• Working closely with the Workshop Supervisor on daily tasks

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication
• TIG welding experience (essential)
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience working with 5mm material thickness
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around finish and presentation
• Comfortable working in a workshop-based environment
• Reliable, hands-on approach with a good work ethic

Working Hours & Package

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• £17.50 per hour
• Overtime available and paid at 1.5x
