What you'll be doing
As Hotel Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales efforts across two hotels, including The Cumberland - the largest property in the group. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will work closely with the Sales Managers to provide essential administrative support while also ensuring seamless coordination of sales activities and contribute to driving revenue growth.
You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales opportunities, and helping the team to deliver exceptional service to both new and existing clients, helping to drive a steady pipeline of opportunities for the Sales Managers to convert. Your organizational and communication skills will be essential in ensuring smooth operations between the hotels, Central Reservations, and the wider sales team, supporting the delivery of our revenue goals.
- Assisting the Sales Managers in coordinating sales activities across multiple hotels
- Supporting the sales team in managing accounts, preparing proposals, handling inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Tracking sales leads, ensuring follow-up actions are taken in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate client site visits, show-rounds, internal sales meetings, and hotel sales activations
- Coordinating communication and collaboration between the hotels and the Central Reservations team to optimize booking opportunities and supporting the events team as well in handling group, meeting, and event bookings
- Assisting with the preparation of sales reports, market analysis, and tracking sales performance
- Helping to ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies and promotional campaigns
- Daily/weekly/monthly reporting to support the Director of Sales
- Support research and outreach efforts to identify and nurture local sales opportunities and SME leads
- Attend trade shows and TMC office visits as required, with a set of clear objectives and targets
- Maintaining up-to-date customer records in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity across the hotels
What you'll bring
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks across different properties
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with the sales team, clients, and internal departments
- A customer-focused and target driven mindset with a passion for building and maintaining relationships
- Ability to challenge the status quo to look at news ways of working
- Proficiency in using sales and booking systems to track performance and generate reports
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals
- Previous experience in sales support or hospitality is a plus
