The Role: Relationship-Driven, Solution-Focused

As a Sales Specialist, you won't just be "selling products"—you'll be a technical consultant for some of the most respected laboratories and academic institutions in the region.

* Own Your Territory:
Drive growth by nurturing a loyal, well-established customer base while strategically hunting for new opportunities.

* Be the Expert:
Use your scientific background to troubleshoot assays, guide product selection, and optimize customer workflows.

* On the Move:
This is a dynamic field role. Expect to be on the road ~3 days a week, engaging with clients face-to-face and representing the brand at major industry exhibitions.

* Collaborate to Win:
You'll work alongside a high-performing Field and Inside Sales team, sharing insights to close multi-site deals.

The Candidate

We are looking for a blend of technical curiosity and commercial flair. You might be an experienced Sales Specialist or a Lab Scientist ready to trade the bench for a more dynamic, customer-facing career.

What you'll need:

* Scientific Foundation:
A degree (or equivalent lab experience) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.

* Technical Literacy:
A solid grasp of chromatography. Hands-on lab experience is a massive plus.

* Communication Skills:
The ability to speak "Scientist-to-Scientist" while maintaining a commercial mindset.

* Drive:
Previous experience in a scientific, customer-facing role (ideally sales) and a valid UK driving license.

* Commercial Aptitude:
Evidential experience in a customer facing role; ideally selling products or services but alternatively a background in Study Management; Product Management; Application Support or similar could be considered
