FLT Driver / Production Operative - Extrusion
Location: Leeds
Full-Time | Days - Monday to Friday | Hrs 8am - 4.30pm | Permanent Position

We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious FLT Driver / Production Op to support the production teams on-site. This is a hands-on logistics and operational role offering great long-term opportunities for progression in a stable and growing business.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

* FLT driving (Counterbalance) good in/out. Navigating pallets of raw material and product from production to warehouse and vice-versa

* Loading and unloading lorries

* Assisting teams and Operations with production tasks

* Wrapping, stacking, and moving finished goods

* Keeping the working area clean, safe, and organised

* Supporting with machine changeovers and basic maintenance tasks

* Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

✅ What We're Looking For / Candidate specification:

* Previous experience working around Extruders or Extrusion Machinery would be nice, but not essential.

* In-date Counterbalance FLT licence

* Previous experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred

* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

* Good level of physical fitness - the role can involve manual work

* Reliable, punctual, and a team player

* Flexible with working hours - Overtime at time and a half
