Our client is actively seeking a talented IT Process Compliance Analyst to work at their location in Durham, NC. This is a 6-month contract assignment with the possibility of going full-time with our client.

Job Overview:

The IT Process Compliance Analyst is responsible for the functional maintenance of the IT Process Management Framework and supporting the Process Steward in driving rigor in IT processes. Accountable for reviewing process compliance and working with Process Steward in establishing full accountability and ensuring all IT Operational Process documentation are current and reflective of the processes and practices utilized by the global IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the IT Process Management Framework as defined for our client with a complete understanding of, and adherence to all IT policies and processes. Work with Process Steward to identify and ensure continual process improvement of the framework. Supports development of training curriculum to support the implementation of the Process Management framework.
  • Support development and maintenance of the website for IT Operating Model Processes. Ensure current processes are maintained and new processes are published in compliance to Process Management guidelines. Review process workflows to find out how they can be improved or automated.
  • Interfaces with the Process Steward, Process Owner, and cross functional IT teams to ensure IT Tools are aligned to Process disciplines and documentation. Facilitate/support process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.
  • Responsible for supporting Process Owners in the documenting of the SOPs, WI's and training material for the process, including metrics and related tools in compliance with the framework. The Process Steward/Owner will determine when assistance is required.
  • Monitors and audits process and report to Process Steward on issues/risks and any breaches in process and support the Process Steward in facilitating periodic reviews of all IT Operational processes with the applicable IT Process Owners. Develop and maintain Process Management dashboards and extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review.
  • Review with Process Steward, measure of process compliance, maturity and improvement for all IT process and create executive summary reports by organizational element. Follow-up with process owners on progress of action plans from these reports and update Process Steward on status periodically.
  • Maintain the plans and schedules of the Process Owner Forum. Coordinate with Process Steward and Process Owners to plan for periodic Forum meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate the meeting. Responsible for developing meeting agenda, gathering updates to be shared / discussed in meeting and scheduling meeting invites


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of demonstrated experience in defining and deploying (Process development, documentation, and implementation) IT processes.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in project, technology or process management.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in Process Improvement Methodologies and leading process changes
  • Excellent understanding of document control and updating of process and tools
  • Experienced in reviewing and improving global service processes preferably in ITIL framework
  • Professional certification in ITIL required, Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • Deep experience in using key methodologies such as ITIL, Six Sigma, Agile, SDLC, PMBOK and PRINCE2
  • Experienced in practical application ability with Microsoft office (Excel) and Visio
  • Experienced with tools like ServiceNow, PlanView SharePoint, BOX etc.
  • High analytical individual with a keen eye for details
  • Strong organizational skills including good time management, prioritizing tasks, estimating activities, and meeting deadlines. Must effectively prioritize own work,
  • Exhibits a high tolerance for rapid change and manages change effectively
  • Strong ability to understand and assess process needs
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, professional and effective presenting ideas or reports with clarity
  • Experience of effectively working in a culturally diverse workplace through international projects or global teams
