Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently partnering with our client in their search of a Senior Finance Analyst (very akin to a Business Partner) on a permanent contract based in Bristol.
This role is the seat that both the line manager & the "Head Of" both sat in before progressing! It's an excellent Lead role to oversee a team but without the technicalities of being responsible for appraisals, performance management etc… This role will oversee & manage the teams workload & outputs - making it a fab stepping stone into a formal manager role! So, if you're a proven Finance Business Partner and want to dip your toe into management, this is for you!

The salary on offer is up to £70,000 + benefits. Hybrid working is supported.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of business partners, reviewing their work, providing support where necessary on their deliverables
- Support in the standardisation of reporting on a monthly / quarterly basis
- Oversee month end process - approving journals, supporting the team with queries, ad hoc analysis and communicating upwards
- Partnering with non finance stakeholders on business performance, challenging where necessary
- In depth analysis, trend analysis and working with team members to convey findings to stakeholders
- Deliver change projects and look into standardisation of process
About You:
- Qualified accountant with PQE
- Prior demonstratable experience in partnering & presenting to senior stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills
- Prior partnering / FP&A experience
