Supportive Village Primary School

Astro Education is working with a welcoming village primary school near Crewe to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive school community, where staff work collaboratively to support pupils and create a positive learning environment.

The Role

You will be supporting a primary-aged pupil with autism on a 1:1 basis.

  • Providing calm, consistent and structured support
  • Supporting engagement in lessons and daily routines
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Encouraging communication, independence and confidence

The pupil is non-violent, and the role would suit someone patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (autism desirable)
