We are seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment. This position is available September on a 1-year contract.

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Science at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
• Maintain effective classroom management skills.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Be a positive role model, demonstrating compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance practices and curriculum delivery.

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is beneficial.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and interested in working with students.
• Good interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
