Technical Sales Engineer required for an established, successful and growing major supplier of industrial multipole connectors, plugs, socket outlets and distribution systems.

As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will be working to develop and maintain Industrial customers throughout the South supported by a network of Industrial Distributors.

Based at the UK headquarters in Liverpool, you will develop and maintain the commercial business in the South with regular visits to key Industrial customers, following new opportunities, while supporting their “main Industrial distributors”

The role

* Responsible for existing, new Industrial customers and Specialised Distributors in the South

* Develop long-term relationships with Senior management with new and Existing customers

* Problem solving both commercial and technical issue with the support of Application Engineers to find a working solution

* Detailed planning for the South, well organized travel plan for the South

* Regular visits to existing industrial customers/Distributors in South (2-3 days trip)

* Preparing commercial quotations for all enquires in South

* Complete project management of the South market

The person

* A Sales background in electrical, automation, industrial or similar products background is preferred with

* A highly skilled, proficient sales individual.

* Have excellent telephone skills and have an easy-going professional manner in both calls and face to face interactions

* Able to follow, plan and execute sales strategies

* Possess a customer centric Sales approach

* Good IT skills, excellent with excel, outlook, word, and power point
