The Role: HR Manager
Salary: £40K plus benefits
My client, a large manufacturing business, are looking for a Generalist HR Manager to look after their operation based in South Wales. The successful HR Manager will have hands-on responsibility for the management and delivery of all human resources policies and practices including benefits, retirement, compensation, employee relations, recruitment and compliance.
The HR Manager will manage and facilitate all aspects of Human Resource activities for the business.
As the successful HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
·Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business
·Oversee and coordinate recruitment for different areas of the business
·Assess and develop training needs for the company.
·Manage the sickness and absence for the business and carry out disciplinaries and grievances as required
·Be able to give advice to the business both confidently and competently
·Produce management information for senior stakeholders within the business
·Manage the succession plans and work with managers on upskilling
·CIPD qualified is desirable
·Excellent up to date employment law knowledge
·Comfortable working in a stand-alone position.
·Be able to successfully build relationships with different stakeholders in the business
·Manufacturing background is highly desirable
