A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join a world leading manufacturer of Machine Interfaces. In this role you will support the growth, processes and solutions to the blue chip companies. In return you will have a salary of £45,000-£50,000, Pension scheme, Regular Monday to Friday hours and career progression.

The responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer are:

Produce 3D designs using SolidWorks
Create detailed drawings to BS 888 standards
Aid production engineering and production teams on ways to improve and resolve issues.
Provide support to the junior engineers
Preform fault analysis and technical investigations.
Prepare product specifications, technical and test reports to professional standards.The requirements for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineers are:

Bachelors' or Masters Degree qualified
Experienced working on multiple projects and confident in Project Management.
Proficient user of SolidWorks and Microsoft Office tools
Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling is essential.
