Contract Maintenance Engineer - Late Shift (2pm-10pm)
Location: Suffolk
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Contract: 3-6 months (potential to extend)
Rate: £36ph umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults

Working to minimize downtime and support continuous production

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Reporting and documenting work carried out using CMMS systems

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical), ideally with a recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds)

Confident working independently during the late shift

Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
