Hours: 21 hours per week - ideally over 3 days but flexible over 4 or 5 days - 100% office based

Hourly rate: £15.38p/h

Duration: ASAP start for 3 months

Looking for a detail-driven part time Finance Assistant to join a talented finance team and help deliver a quality service across their global group of companies.

Key Duties:

Manage and oversee client accounts

Prepare and process financial statements

Create, issue, and follow up on invoices

Collect, review, and analyse data for reports

Review and perform audits on financial statements and reports

Identify and report discrepancies

Recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

Process staff expenses

Handle multi-currency transactions

Manage intercompany transactions

Perform bank reconciliations

Oversee credit card transactions and reconciliations

Required Experience & Skills:

Degree in Accounting or Finance

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience

Knowledge of accruals and prepayments

Strong bookkeeping skills

Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines

Desirable:

Working towards, or completion of, an AAT qualification
