We are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Loughborough with the appointment of a Shift Engineering Team Leader.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a small team of engineers to ensure plant performance, reliability, and safety. You will:

Lead, mentor, and develop engineers within the maintenance team
Deliver preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise output
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
Drive improvements in OEE through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across siteWhat We're Looking For

Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (minimum Level 3)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Experience within industrial/manufacturing plant maintenance
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Commitment to safety, reliability, and performanceThe Package
