PROSPERO TEACHING

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Cardiff with a pupill who requires 1:1 support. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in either Education or Health care as personal care will be involved in the day-to -day support for this pupil. Training will be provided for manual handling, however candidates must be poractive and attentive within this role and able to take initiative.

This role is long term and will start from January and will continue until the end of the Academic year, with the likelihood of being extended in to the next academic year. This is based solely within school and for the hours of 8:30-3:30.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist)

*Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
