GTEM is an award-winning innovative company supplying parts for the automotive industry, we have full inhouse tool manufacturing capabilities, due to continued growth and expansion of GTEM we have a great opportunity available and are looking for a press tooling engineer. You will be part of a team repairing, maintaining and improving the tooling

Role Responsibilities

* Maintenance and repair of press tooling (transfer and progression)

* Identifying and carrying out modification to press tools where necessary

* Assisting production teams to achieve production targets by supporting with tooling development

* Carrying out preventative maintenance

Skills and Abilities

* 3 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably working with stamping or injection molding tooling

* Excellent problem solver with the ability to meet production deadlines

* Fully competent on conventional machines, including Mills, Lathes and Grinders

Person Profile

* The person should be able to work as a team and independently

* Ability to work to deadlines and targets

* Excellent communication at all levels

* Driven to succeed in an expanding company

Compensation and Benefits

Hours of work- 37.5 per week

Salary - Negotiable depending on experience

Generous holiday allowance 25 days + bank holidays

Shift premiums payable

Overtime available. Weekend working is not compulsory.
