This small to medium sized agent are looking to add a Project Co-Ordinator to join their busy team

· Over two years’ experience in freight forwarding
· Preferable multimodal understanding
· Car driver - clean licence
· Flexibility
· Attitude is key

This role ideally needs you to come from the following background

Duties to include:
· Gathering information and providing clients with accurate information
· Identifying the most appropriate form of transit and identifying and mitigating potential risk
· Oversee and assist in the preparation of quotations for clients, recording the information on the Company databases and following up to secure business
· Booking shipments with hauliers, ocean lines and airlines
· Completing AWB's, bills of lading, customs entries and identification and preparation of all other documentation required for export and re-import
· Liaising and updating clients, overseas agents, and suppliers as necessary.
· Supervise and monitor through transit corridor with hauliers, ocean lines, airlines and overseas partners
· Ensuring correct customs procedures are being used
· Monitoring of shipments including accurate booking in on internal system
· Supervise and assist cost accruals and charging of shipments including the sending out of invoice and back up documentation to the relevant party.

Requirements:
· Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an operational environment (multi modal would be an asset)
· Aviation Security Training level CO Level (can be given by the Company)
· Satisfactory CRC check and satisfactory 5-year background checks and eligibility to work in the UK
· Full, clean driving licence
· Positive, 'can-do' attitude
· Able to organise themselves and work independently.
· Able to manage and organize several tasks simultaneously.

Salary up to c£38k depending expMonday to Friday 9-5.30
