Job Title: General Assistant - School Kitchen

Location: Folkestone

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract: term-time only

Hours: Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our school kitchen team in Folkestone. You will play a key role in supporting the catering service, ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and serving meals to students and staff.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
Wash up and manage kitchen equipment.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
Enhanced DBS check required (we can assist with the application if needed).
