The Role
This role offers a motivated KS1 ECT the chance to teach either Year 1 or Year 2, supporting pupils as they build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development. You will deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all learners, while working closely with experienced colleagues who will guide you throughout your first teaching role.
 
The Candidate
The school is seeking a passionate and reflective KS1 ECT who is ready to make a positive impact on early primary education.
 
You should have:

A degree in Education or a relevant subject area
QTS or be working towards achieving it by January 2026
A solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A proactive approach and commitment to ongoing professional development
