Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in HVAC and mechanical building services. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, apply your technical expertise using the latest design software, and contribute to exciting schemes from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver well-coordinated, efficient and cost-effective mechanical designs across a wide range of projects and clients

* Develop tailored specifications, detailed calculations and comprehensive technical reports to support project requirements

* Create high-quality mechanical system designs using the latest industry-standard software tools

* Work independently or as part of a team to ensure high-quality technical output

* Stay up to date with industry innovations and best practices, dedicating time to research and development and competitor advancements

* Prepare clear and precise technical documentation

* Attend design meetings, client consultations and site visits as required

* Manage your own workload and deadlines, maintaining control of multiple tasks and priorities

What They're Looking For:

* Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a solid track record of delivering complex projects successfully

* Background in consultancy environments

* In-depth knowledge of HVAC and other mechanical services

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients

* Skilled in using industry-standard design software, including Revit and AutoCAD

* A proactive and forward-thinking approach and a focus on continuous improvement
