Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring maintenance plan and schedule compliance for instrument and instrumentation standard maintenance activities.
Key activities for this position include managing a prioritized list of work orders, coordinating with vendors, proper packaging and shipping of devices, performing and documenting work in a cGMP manner, ensuring maintenance activities adhere to contract and schedules.
This role will work closely with Facilities & Engineering Management, Instrumentation and Metrology Technicians, Control Systems Technicians and Operations teams to plan, coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance activities performed by third party vendors.

Job Responsibilities:
Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, and SHE Departments Act as the F&E primary point of contact for instrument and metrology maintenance performed by third party vendors.
Work with instrument owners to ensure instruments are calibrated and/or maintained according to a defined schedule.
Identify waste, workflow interruptions, and other opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and assisting with implementation.
Execute work orders in compliance with all company procedures.
Participate in SOP collaboration, and review.
Review executed work orders and associated documentation, check for accuracy.
Exhibit detail-oriented documentation skills.
Communicate effectively with the group and be able to work in a team environment.
Comply with all safety requirements, cGMP, SOP, and manufacturing documentation.
Follow established safety and environmental guidelines and procedures for all work performed, immediately report safety and environmental incidents including injury, illness, near misses, and safety suggestions.
Will maintain a positive and safe working environment for all people Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Prompt, consistent and orderly work habits.
Display an understanding of performing maintenance in a GMP Manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ability to work independently on complex and controversial issues.
Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
Ability to use computer software applications (MS Word/Excel).
Ability to use and navigate Computerized Maintenance Management System- SAP.
Ability to use and navigate within the Calibration Management System- Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM).
General knowledge of shop tool operation and safety.

High School graduate.
Strong preference for 2-5 years Instrumentation & Controls and/or Calibration experience; minimum 2 years in a cGMP environment.
