Lancaster City Council has an opportunity available for you to join us as a Community Safety and Safeguarding Manager based in Morecambe.
You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering you a competitive salary of £27,905 - £32,878 per annum plus benefits.

This will include working to address issues identified locally to improve the quality of life of residents, building relationships and networks, liaising with local partners and becoming involved in a wide range of activities intended to prevent and reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
You will be based at Morecambe Town Hall, however you will also be required to operate from other Council sites within the District.
What we are looking for in our ideal Community Safety and Safeguarding Manager: In order to succeed in this role you must have a good knowledge of the local authority’s role in providing community safety services, be able to deliver from the outset and have experience of working with a range of agencies and with the community.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to analyse and evaluate the success of projects.
